Pro-SiVIC™

To face the growing demand of security automation in everyday life from road safety including driver assist systems, to critical infrastructure surveillance systems (airport, stadium, road network, homeland, ...) but also increasing demand for mobility access of people it is essential to take into account reliability and performance of perception sensors and their algorithms.

CIVITEC focuses on solutions and professional services dedicated to the design, validation and reliabilty assessment of embedded perceptions sensors commonly found in ICT-based systems.

CIVITEC is a spin out company from french research labs INRETS and LCPC.

CIVITEC helps customers to increase their efficiency by:

The key factor is the ability of the software platform Pro-SiVIC™ to enable exteroceptive and proprioceptive virtual sensors simulation of commonly used multi-frequency environmental perception hardware such as videocam, lidar, radar, GPS, transponders...

The virtual sensors with respect to their physical capabilites are able to make real-time measurement of environmental behaviour changes including weather conditions, moving objects, infrastructures, occupants and others dynamic events.

Thanks to a seamless integration with prototyping software such as Intempora RTMaps or Matlab Simulink, real-time acquisition of time-stamped sensors measurements from Pro-SiVIC™ are allowed. The open and flexible architecture allows virtual prototyping of a complete control-command including loop-back control to the Pro-SiVIC™ dynamic mobile model up to SIL & HIL capabilities.
